Be Consistent

I am doing it and i feel phenomenal. the last time I started blogging I was on a specific eating plan and it worked but once I went back to eating my normal meals that’s when i started gaining all my weight back.Its up to you as the individual to determine how you want to eat you may want to count calories, cut carbs, or just juice that’s fine by me just be consistent that’s the Key and if you fall off  the wagon jump back on that bitch.(sorry if that’s to blunt but its the truth). listen the summer is soon approaching get it together tomorrow is not promised so do it today.

I have been drinking a slim fast for BKFST and lunch I love the strawberry flavor(yum). i eat fruit with my bkfst and i will have some toast if I am still hungry.

Lunch: I add a salad with my drink.

Dinner: I usually have fish and veggies and brown rice.

 

Like I said eat how you want to eat if you need advice ask and ill tell. LOL I have been on every diet out. I am not dieting any way i am just eating healthier

JUST DO IT

Last year i started a weight loss blog Lost the weight and only gained 5 extra pounds back from 09/08 which is pretty good. My ultimate goal of losing 40 pounds were not met BUT I was happy with my 22 lb weight loss. initially I wanted to start a weight loss Blog because I know how hard it can be to lose weight on your own I a a prime example. so I figured my friends would comment and there friends would comment and this would be a weight loss phenom. opposed to the cabbage diet,water diet,etc i am in this for the Long hall it worked before its going to work again the difference this time is that when i am done losing the weight I will continue to Blog so Lets get it together ladies and be like Nike and JUST DO IT.

There is no set diet here I will blog every 3 days and i would like to see your input and comments. LETS GET BUSY

  1. - fast/flush whatever you wanna call it just prepare your body for this new way of eating (not a diet they don’t work). The 48 hour Hollywood diet is good ( duane Reade sells it, You can juice )
  2. Get an exercise regimen down if you don’t exercise then do notexpect to lose any weight its just not gonna work PERIOD you have got to do some sort of exercise (Aerobics {buy some tapes if you don’t wanna join a gym}, bicycling, Play pool {for every 30 min you burn 60 calories},Bowling { for every 30 min u burn 80 calories}, Boxing, Jumping  jacks, Go Dancing, Play Frisbee, Golf, Hand Ball, Horse back riding, House cleaning { 80 calories per 30 min}, ice skating, jumping rope, kickboxing, paddle ball, playing catch, push ups, pull ups, pilates, racquetball, rollerskating, running {down load some hard core running music on your ipods for motivation},sex {12 calories burned every 30 min} :) , sit ups, skateboarding, stretching, swimming, stairs master{or run up and down your stairs in your building}, table tennis, tennis, trampoline,volleyball, walking, weight lifting, yoga,
  3. Get your self a journal and write in it daily. Be specific about your weight lose goals for example. I wanna lose 25 lbs and tone up my belly, butt legs, thighs, and my arms. Log in daily what part of your body you are targeting through exercise DO NOT target the same part of your body 2 days in a row( if you work on your arms Monday dont work on your arms Tuesday).
  4. Be realistic you can not lose 5 lbs a week the maximum is 2  or 1 1/2 lb’s a week and you will not be disappointed. realize that there will be times when you hit a wall meaning you wont lose weight for a whole week maybe even 2 in a row thats when step 1 comes into place shock the body by juising/fasting/flushing.
  5. you may also cheat or slack off just jump back to sqaure 1 and do it again theres no need to beat up on your self just KEEP IT MOVING FORWARD THE PAST IS THE PAST

I’m back 4 good.

Ladies please 4 give me I was gone 4 a minute but Im back in this jump off. I have been soooooooooo busy Ive been sticking to my plan besides me fasting which I did for a couple of weeks so there was no blogging for me but I’m here for yall. I was told to try this weight loss Aide called Napolina its all natural you can buy it at a health food store, fruit stand, or supermarket. Read and follow the directions carefully. I.K so we have the juice cleanse , eating right, And now a weightloss aide with that and excersice u are well on ur way I hope that u guys have been sticking to ur weightloss goal don’t slip now u should b half way there. Don’t forget veggies& carbs or protiens & veggies No protiens and carbs together. Protiens are meat, eggs, fish etc. Carbs are bread,pasta,rice , potatoes. You can eat fruit but watch ur portion size do not O.D because ur calorie intake will be ridicules which is not good at all. If u have been cheating get it together and cleanse for u newbies read the 1st & 2 be blog. Workout,Workout,Workout,Workout,

Don’t b afraid of running try it u may like it and it will slim you down quickly.
Pushups work ur upperbody.
Leglifts (lay on the side and left the leg high) switch sides
squats OMG onion booty 4 sure.

BKFST; Cereal a skim milk
Snack: Fruit
Lunch:spaghetti&veggies or salad
Snack:carrots & dip
Dinner:Baked chicken & Veggies.

Bkfst: oatmeal&
Snack: yogurt
lunch: parmasian chicken & veggies

Dinner:fish & veggies.

These are my Confessions.

Confession #1. I cheated that’s why I have not been blogging I lost that extra 5 pounds. That i Previously stated when I lost those extra pounds Oreos here I come. Well it was Oreos, twix, fried chicken, vegetable fried rice , macaroni salad, potato salad. I know ur thinking dang. Thais what I’m thinking as Im blogging I went 2 far but I always share my experiences with u guys good or bad I’m human and I hope u guys learn from my mistakes.

#2 I gained that 5. Pounds back that’s what I get for cheating I don’t feel sorry for my self neither am I angry with my self. Its a lesson learned basically what I have learned is that I can’t reward myself while dieting or I will back slide and 2 that I definetly can’t eat like that when I’m done dieting or I will be back at square 1 I did not sacrafice my good junk food to lose this weight.

#3. I slacked off excersice while eating like a hog. I think that had I been working out I would have maintained my weight and would not have gained the 5 pounds back. It is what it is and for that I push myself to do 200 jumping jacks 100 crunches & 100 squats additional to my work out we all need to punish our selves its like my little time out.

I hope u learn from my confessions and don’t follow in my footsteps. You can also learn from me I learned from my mistakes and instead of beating my self up I am keeping it moving Ms New Booty hear I come.
Before u pass judgment recognize that I am human and we all make mistakes.

Fruit cleanse for the cheaters here it goes
bkfast 48 hr liquid cleanse or 1/8 of a cantaloupe
also as much fruit as u want
lunch: big veggie salad no meat or cheese or crutons
Dinner: skinless chicken breast & green veggies
follow the cleanse while eating this meal this is to get the body back on track.

For my good girls
bkfst: eggs w cheese and bacon or sausage
lunch: whole weat pasta a veggies sphaggeti or Alfredo sauce
dinner: parmasian chicken don’t fry it bake it and pair it with a veggie.

1 day at a time.

I have been doing this diet for about 7 weeks now and its getting harder because I have to constantly restrain myself from eating a box of cookies. Since I have been on this diet my appetite has been up and down. 1 week my appetite is big and i want to eat ever thing in sight and  the next week my appetite is small and I shun junk food. So I have to take  this weightloss thing day by day or i will fail and i can not lose. I went to red lobster yesterday and lord knows it took everything for me not to eat them buttery, cheesey,hot biscuits O.M.G I would have given my right pinky finger just to lick it. But I knew that I would be blogging today so I did not want this to be about my confessions but about my dieting experience so I didnt eat one I had a ceaser salad, shrimp scampi,grilled salmon ,and stupid broccoli w cheese instead of my favorite mashed potatoes. i am dang proud of my self because  I have a goal to accomplish so that’s why I’m sticking  with it. Oh but as soon as I drop 5 more pounds   I am treating my self to atreat because I deserve it and also because I refuse to drop all of m weight and gain it all back because I deprieved myself certain foods while I was on the diet so I will learn how to eat the foods that I love sparingly oppesed to being a gluten for sweets but thats phase 2. So for all of my ladys that are staying on track kudos to you. even if you have cheated and got right back on track heres to you ( as I tip my  hat). LOL Thats what the cleanser is for cleanse it and for get it. OK Divas lets stick with it.

snack:apples & peanut butter

lunch:brown rice w spinich mixed together is tasty you can use cream of mushroom soup for some texture.

Snack:3 graham crackers

Dinner: Turkey meatballs smothered w tomatoe sauce and a bit mozzerella cheese.

From apple sauce to an apple bottom 4 more pounds lost. ( woohoo)

I only have about 15 more pounds to go before I hit my weight loss goal which is to fit perfectly in a size 8. Yes I said an 8 sooooooo. I might even get to a 6 it depends on how the size suits me I dont want to look like I’m on drugs I just wanna look fit, healthy,and nicely toned. Its one thing to have a nice body in your jeans but when you take them off you should look just as good. I do not want to lose weigh t if my end result is a saggy raggady body. So tone it up if you are not a gym member tone up at home do squats, push ups , leg lifts, and buy some weights for the home. Get ur Butt moving you know my motto.Phillipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ that streghnthen me. Put your mind to it and get it done.

Down to buisness
Bkfst: 2 boiled eggs 3 slices of bacon
Snack:15 Almonds
Lunch:Pasta salad,tomatoes, green,red, & yellow peppers, black olives, cucumbers, & chick peas wish bone Italian dressing. )
Snack:3 triscuts
Dinner: garlic baked chicken breast , broccoli with cheese.

Push it to the LIMIT.

Todays blog is needed for some good old motivation Lord knows that I need it. I previously blogged about getting comfortable after you lose weight. Had I not been blogging I would be in a comfortable state were I would have gone off the wagon along time ago. After I have seen results but I need to finish what I started for myself as well as you guys. So that’s why I’m asking you to join me as I push it to the limit. Yes summer is almost over but when fall comes I would love to go and try on some cute size 8 jeans and have them fit that would be fab.I have been working really hard and I’m not stopping until I have my best results just losing weight is not enough for me I want the ultimate experience were I am completely toned up as well. As I looked at some high school pictures I realized that I have always been thick I was of course smaller bit I had the same look not fat just thick as heck. I figure if I tone my body up I would be happy muscles showing ( not body builder muscles) nice femine cuts so I’m excited about this totally new body also I have to cleanse again my body is getting used to this diet quick so ad I study away to shake the body up just continue on your quest to your perfect body.

Bkfst: shredded wheat or whole grain cereal a fruit.
Snack : yogurt ladies we need that calcium around mid 20’s to help our bones stay strong when we get older.
Lunch: pepper chicken ( thin slices of chicken breast. Red,yellow,&green pepper. ) sauteed in olive oil mmmmmm
Snack:3 graham crackers
Dinner: chicken parmigian ( if u bread the chicken bread it in 100% whole wheat.

2 more pounds. (LMAO) literally.

It has been brought to my attention that I should go back to the basics of this DIET. 1 cleanse your body purchase the 48hour hollywood diet. If you can not find it in duane reade ,c.v.s etc than buy a cantalope slice it in 1/8. You now have 8 pieces so for the first day eat 4 pieces of cantalope every 3 hours upon rising example. 8 am 11am 2 pm 5 pm that’s not all you get to eat I want u to enjoy unlimited proteins ( chicken,fish,and turkey) no beef or pork with unlimited GREEN veggies. Water, decaf coffee or tea. Use a sweetner opposed to a regular sugar no sugar , no sugar, no sugar. Day 3 unlimited eating is over (sorry greedy) LOL you need to eat protiens, with vegetables. And whole grain carbs ( brown rice, whole wheat spaghetti,100% whole wheat bread no enriched wheat nothing bleached , no carrots,corn, or bananas. Its just like that nothing more or less. Remember I always answer questions ask them any time. Also excersice is key I dont care if ur busy get ur ads moving , work out videos, cable television has free on demand workouts, take a walk or a run either or its beautiful out its summer if not sign up t a gym. Remember if the gym is not by your home or work u probably won’t go choose wisely.

Lunch:crab cakes or salmon cakes. And a big colorful salad
dinner: coconut shrimp & broccoli
2 snacks: Jello,pudding,polly-I string cheese, fruit, or yogurt. Pick 2 not all of them.

Squats for butt& legs.
Side leg lifts for hips.
push up for back, arms& abs
crunches for abs

Mind Body and Soul

I am feeling good about my weight loss I can truly say that my clothes fit better and I’m not as tired any more thats also because I have been taking B 12 complex the pills gives me energy and helps with my nervous system.I can’t wait to drop the rest of this weight so I can go shopping( yyyyyyeeeeessss) I am giving myself a complete make over hair, clothes, make up the works.Before I do that though I am going to work on my self from the inside out. So not only will my body be strong so will my mind and spirit. You may want to know why I would want to work on my mind, body , and soul and my answer is for complete BALANCE. What’s a new body if mentally u still practice old habits.How can you build your mind body and soul. First of all you are working on building up your body by following this weightloss blog eating right and excercising. There are 3 phases to this weight loss process 1 is to drop the weight 2 is to tone up your body and the 3 rdphase is keeping the weight off so we are on a journey together. (Are You Commited?) You can Build your mind by protecting your mind because your mind produces thoughts your thoughts become actions your action become habits your habits produces character and your character becomes your DESTINY .SO just get rid of or just stay away from (negative. People ,Places , and things. No excuses or complaining).If you need help then go to barnes and nobles and go in the self improvement section and get to reading.Kimora Lee Simmons has a great book called fabolousity. For your soul grab a bible or what ever you use to gain a closer relationship with god. Work on it Mind body & soul and you will feel as ONE .

2 pounds lost and 2 inches gone. IM ON MY WAY.

I Have a waistline I know I keep stressing that but if you lost yours and found it you would be just as happy trust me.I am not a 24 in the waist yet but iM ON MY WAY I still have some fat back but it no longer looks like I have 2 breast on my back LOL. Other than that I am in a happy place other than me being constipated you would think that with me eating veggies that I would have a regular BM but I don’t. Sorry if this is TMI but I need to address this issue because some of you may be experiencing this problem if you have I bought this diet tea from the fruit stand I drink a cup every night and in the morning and it works for me its called the dieters tea but BEWARE it does not work like that for everyone. Some of my friends have experienced MAJOR cramping in the abdominal area I would not suggest that you continue drinking this if that happens to you.Just go to the nearest Pharmacy and buy a laxitive Also I hope you ladies are taking your Vitamins get a one a day from centrum or GNC Dont forget that You need vitamins and minerals to contiunue a healthy weight loss regimen. To all of you ladies who have had success CONGRATULATIONS to US>

BKFST:Bkfast Smoothie with fruit
snack: cheese
Lunch: Tuna wrapped in lettuce instead of a wrap unless there is a such thing as a veggie wrap
snack: sugar free jello or freeze pop.
Dinner:Fried turkey chops 9 marinate them in A1 sauce overnight there so good with a veggie.

I was grumpy because I for got my sunglasses but my waist is going down WOOOO HOOOO(LOL)
